Commentary:
At Integrative Chiropractic, we recommend small chiropractic packages at patients' request if medium to long term care is required. These treatment packages may be renewed once a re-evaluation of the patient's clinical condition is done. The intention is to protect the financial interests of patients in the event of death or incapacity of the chiropractor, or withdrawal of chiropractic services offered by a practice. The Chiropractic Association in Singapore advises against the taking up of treatment packages of 12 sessions or more at a time. Should a patient wish to sign up for a large treatment package, the doctrine of caveat emptor prevails, so let the buyer beware.
